India is one of the top mobile game markets in the world. So, we identified the fastest growing mobile games from India’s top publishers, including Gametion, Moonfrog, and Games2win.com.
According to our analysis, Gametion, Moonfrog, and Games2win.com are the three most popular mobile game developers headquartered in India. Together, they have published 44 mobile games and generated 1.36 billion global downloads.
With this in mind, we wanted to see which apps were currently driving their success. We used our app intelligence solutions to identify the most popular Gametion, Moonfrog, and Games2win.com apps over the last 30 days and analyze their downloads and usage trends.
Here’s what we found…
The Fastest Growing Apps from Gametion, Moonfrog, and Games2win.com
Over the last 30 days the Android version of Gametion’s Ludo King™ generated 11,601,567 downloads. This made it by far the developer’s top app, beating Carrom King™, their second most popular game, by nearly 11 million downloads. Currently, Ludo King™ is ranked among the top ‘Board’ games in 139 countries worldwide.
For Moonfrog, the Android version of Ludo Club - Fun Dice Game leads the way with 3,150,744 global downloads over the last month. It’s currently charting in the top 100 ‘Board’ games in 133 countries. While it’s clearly a rung below Gametion’s Ludo game, 3+ million downloads is nothing to scoff at. And indeed, the parallel success of both games indicates that there’s clear demand for Ludo apps.
Finally, Games2win.com’s fastest growing app is the Android version of Fashion Stylist: Dress Up Game. It has been downloaded 496,520 times over the last 30 days and is currently ranked among the top ‘Role Playing’ games in 111 different countries. Now, lest you think these are disappointing numbers in comparison to Gametion and Moonfrog, keep in mind that this app has been downloaded over 50 million times. So, despite the relatively modest 30-day download counts for Fashion Stylist, it’s still an extraordinarily successful app.
For the sake of comparison, let’s look at these apps side by side. Here are the 30-day download trends for Ludo King, Ludo Club, and Fashion Stylist:
This chart tracks daily downloads between May 2nd, 2022 and June 1st, 2022. As the key indicates, Ludo King is in green, Ludo Club is in blue, and Fashion Stylist is in red.
Unsurprisingly, Gametion’s Ludo King is far and away the best performer on a day to day basis. While it generated 489,730 downloads on May 6th, 2022, it typically pulled in between 300,000 and 400,000 downloads per day. Not too shabby.
Next is Moonfrog’s Ludo Club, which experienced a sizable bump in late May. Indeed, while the app rarely hit 100,000 daily downloads between May 2nd and May 21st, it surpassed the 200,000 mark on May 23rd and from May 25th until May 27th.
Finally, the majority of downloads for Games2win.com’s Fashion Stylist came between May 2nd and May 17th, when the app pulled in between 20,000 and 40,000 downloads per day.

Final Thoughts
Ludo King™ by Gametion came out on top by a wide margin, but Moonfrog and Games2win.com had great months as well. However, perhaps even more impressive — and certainly more important long term — is how stable these apps have been over the last year. Indeed, while there was some fluctuation in their monthly active users, there were no dramatic drop-offs and all three apps are trending generally upwards.
